With mountain views, Dunas De Areia Preta is located in Ribeira da Prata and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, children's playground and picnic area. It was clean and the family setting was exactly what we were looking for. The home cooked meals breakfast and dinner were delicious. We enjoyed the late afternoon walks down to the black sandy beach.

Fantastic establishment. Spacious rooms, big beds. All areas very clean. Very pleasant and helpful host (friendly welcome, help with arranging taxi, etc.). Ideal for families - we enjoyed the pool and basket for basketball. Short walking distance to the center of Cidade Velha.

Featuring mountain views, Casa Tota provides accommodation with a terrace, around 34 km from Cape Verde National Stadium. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a balcony. A nice view from a spacious balcony, beautiful interior and gorgeous paintings on the wall. It was fascinating to stay here for one night in our trip through the island. Apart of that, we got the receipt and tasting of craft grog drink which is so good.

Situated in Praia, near Praia de Gamboa, Sucupira Market and Ethnography Museum, Cubico Tota has a terrace. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.5 km from Praia Negra. Close to market where I can eat cheap local dish and minivan station for Tarrafal. The guy running this accommodation is polite and very helpful. Apartment is clean and there is security locker. Wifi is fastest during my travel in Africa for more than a month.

Located in the heart of the old town, this is a great place to stay. The owners are very friendly and communication was excellent. You can walk everywhere around the old town from here. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Full kitchen to make your own meals and coffee.

Casa Sodadi, a property with a terrace, is set in Praia, 800 metres from Praia de Gamboa, 1.4 km from Praia Negra, as well as 2.1 km from Praia de Prainha. Super kind and lovely staff. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and I slept really well. Excellent location near all the landmarks, restaurants and shops in the plateau. I also got free tea and coffee during my stay and I had access to a kitchen and a common area.

Offering a shared lounge and city view, Tarrafal's Meeting Point is set in Tarrafal, 600 metres from Tarrafal Beach and 600 metres from Mar di Baxu Beach. The room was very big and comfortable. The host was very welcoming, we felt there really good.
