She is really nice to talk to and ready to help or advice on options around. The house has a recycling policy and offers plenty of different containers to dispose of garbage. The address can be easily found in google maps (coordinates are correct). Calle 0 is far from central Cartago but conveniently located near the main road that goes to Parque Nacional Irazu. There are several restaurants close to the house, and a supermarket Maxi Paly at less than 1 km.

At the homestay, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. This stay was one of our favorites in Costa Rica! We traveled all over and loved Alfonso and the whole staff. We had access to the whole property and enjoyed exploring! The farm was amazing! We watched fireflies at night and swung on the giant swing in the morning. The hosts thought of everything from WiFi to breakfast in bed in the morning. Everything was perfect! I couldn’t recommend this property more.

A recently renovated homestay situated in Verbena Norte, House of Turri Suite, Views & Jacuzzi features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 38 km from Ujarras Ruins. The Airbnb was fantastic with a fantastic location. The host was incredibly helpful. Although finding the entrance was a bit tricky, the overall experience was fantastic thanks to the amazing location and the wonderful host.

Located in Cartago and only 11 km from Jardin Botanico Lankester, Dreams Lodge Orosi provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house offers accommodation with a balcony. La Sabana Metropolitan Park is 42 km from the guest house and Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica is 44 km away. We booked this lodge for the last 4 nights of our stay in Costarica, only as a place to sleep- as we planned to spend whole days out on excursions. We were actually sorry that we could not spend more time in the lodge itself. It has some lovely outdoor space where you can sit and relax. It also has a common kitchen which is very well equipped, so you can cook your meals there if you wish. There is also a swimming pool, but we did not use it as the weather was quite cold. Room was super clean and comfortable. We loved the local cat which was very friendly and liked to spend her time in the lodge :-) What makes absolute highlight of this lodge, is Ms. Jessica, who provided excellent service to us during our entire stay. She was always so nice and did lot more for us, than she had to! She also speaks very good English so we had no problems with communication. First morning, we ate breakfast in the lodge - the local Gallo Pinto. It was the best breakfast we had in the entire Costarica! Big portion and perfectly cooked and flavoured. You will love it! And the breakfast outdoor seating is very nice. For the rest of our mornings, we were actually leaving very early (around 5 am), and Jessica was so nice that she always prepared for us breakfast and left it in the fridge). If you have rented car, you can park it in front. You can also arrive by public bus (like we did), it is only around 5-10 minutes walk from the bus station. Just be careful, there is no signage with the hotel name, from the street it lookes like someone’s house. If you are at the entrance to the cemetery, you are already too far :-) search for black metal staircase - that is your place.

Randall was great, everything went very smoothly. The place is nice and clean, the room was big and spacy, the bed was super comfy. There is fully equipped kitchen for common use, the location is about 15 minutes walking from the center which is great, and there is a supermarket just across the road in case you feel like staying in and cooking. And of course the price is amazing!

Great and reasonably priced location to stay overnight on the way to Irazú Volcano. We liked walking proximity to Cartago city center, kitchen availability, the garage to safely park the car, private bathroom. Mauricio and his brother were very hospitable having provided information about places of interest and catering nearby, addressing our needs, serving simple breakfast, sharing water bottles and tea. Thanks a lot to Mauricio who informed me of a need to reserve the Volcano area entrance tickets online otherwise we'd have to do it at the top of the mountain with limited Internet connection potentially facing tickets have been sold out.
