A recently renovated homestay situated in Verbena Norte, House of Turri Suite, Views & Jacuzzi features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a wonderful stay. Nathalie the host is so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help us. The room is beautiful, well-equipped with a mini-fridge and plates and coffee maker. Lovely bathroom with a great shower and a jacuzzi. The view is so spectacular and it was so nice to sit out and have a morning coffee or afternoon beer. Handy to see Turrialba Volcano, and we went white water rafting on Pacuare river. Very good location for moving between Pacific and Caribbean Coasts on a road trip or to/from San Jose.

Even though there is a shared kitchen and common space, it felt private and none of us needed to use the kitchen at the same time. People were respectful of our items in the refrigerator and cleaned up after themselves. I was surprised I slept so well, because I usually don’t on vacation.

Great and reasonably priced location to stay overnight on the way to Irazú Volcano. We liked walking proximity to Cartago city center, kitchen availability, the garage to safely park the car, private bathroom. Mauricio and his brother were very hospitable having provided information about places of interest and catering nearby, addressing our needs, serving simple breakfast, sharing water bottles and tea. Thanks a lot to Mauricio who informed me of a need to reserve the Volcano area entrance tickets online otherwise we'd have to do it at the top of the mountain with limited Internet connection potentially facing tickets have been sold out.
