East Coast Coffee Inn features accommodation situated 2.3 km from the centre of Xi'an and provides a bar and a shared lounge. This recently renovated homestay is located 4 km from Xi'an City Wall and 4.7 km from Drum Tower. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This Hostel is simply outstanding. I have had 31 days travel in China on this trip. I have stayed at hundreds of different hotels and hostels during 12 years travelling and working away from the UK over the last 30 years. Miss Lu, who runs East Coast Coffee Inn has been the best host I have ever encountered. The hostel is spotlessly clean, situated just across a quiet road by the Xi an city wall. It is a four minute walk to the Tibettan Guangren Temple. From there it is just another short walk to the City gate. Immediately left and you can stroll along by the canal and river where trees and very well kept gardens give a lovely evening atmosphere with singles, couples and families enjoying themselves. Many evenings women meet up and dance for a couple of hours to music from their recorder. Maybe 50 maybe 30 maybe more. It varies. But they dance classic and modern, fast and slow. In the morning others gather to spend time in Tai Chi. It is a fascinating sight. The hostel is super modern, Ms Wu uses the Internet to give you as many locations, all on maps ready to go, as you need. The water at the hostel is piping hot all day. Busses run from by the Temple. Next door to her are a totally delicious BBQ restaurant with a big, low cost menu. On the other side is her Coffee shop. The situation, though central to the best places to go to, is very quiet so you sleep like a log. I came to China for the history, culture and food. Ms Wu put me in touch with Mariano who took me on a tour. He has 2 majors, Spanish and English. His knowledge of Chinese culture and History is amazing. Really deep and good information flowed non stop for the afternoon. He is well worth trying to hire if he is available and his area knowledge saves you so much wasted time and money. Honestly his tour, tailored to you is very cheap but seriously Interesting. There are plenty of washing machines and dryers, 4 of each, all new on each floor. Soap powder supplied and all free.

At the homestay, every unit is fitted with a outdoor furniture. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. All units have a private bathroom, slippers and bed linen. The place is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful. Would definitely come back.

Centrally located in Xi'an, Honglu Garden Hotel is set just beside Xi'an City Wall, only a 5-minute walk from the Zhuque Gate and a 15-minute walk from Yongningmen Subway Station. It offers cosy rooms with free WiFi access in all areas. Guests can enjoy local specialities for breakfast at the property while plenty of local snacks can be found at the Muslim Street nearby. I stayed here with my wife and really enjoyed the nights here. The facilities and the room exceded my expectations. The room was spacious with a sofa for drinking tee while looking at the City Wall. The bathroom was hight-end in everything. We also made use of the laundry room to wash our clothes. It was for free. Also, I want to highlight the attention of the staff with us. They booked taxis (cheap) and made some reservations for us. The front desk is open basically 24/7 despite what is stated in booking with regards to the check-in hours.

Eastwood Inn offers accommodation in Beilin District. The property is located only a 2-minute walk from Xi'an Forest of Stone Steles Museum. Free WiFi is available in all areas.

The hostel is located only steps away from Wenchang Ancient City Wall and an 8-minute walk from Yongningmen Metro Station (Line 2). The legendary Berlin Museum, where you can walk on the giant city wall to enjoy a spectacular view of the city, is only a 5-minute walk away. Xi'an Railway Station is located a 10-minute drive away. It takes 30 minutes to drive to Xi'an East Railway Station. Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is located within 45 minutes' drive. Location was amazing!!! Right next to the citywall. You go up, turn left and rent a bike to tick of a bucket list item. Riding a bike on city wall. There is an endless art market near the hotel. You will be able to buy some jade or a painted fan by a local artist.

Located within 600 metres of Bell Tower and 3.7 km of Xi'an City Wall, Memory Garden House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Xi'an. It is set 7 km from Big Wild Goose Pagoda and offers a 24-hour front desk. The property is 700 metres from the city centre and 300 metres from Drum Tower. The room itself was amazing, very clean and comfortable. It was surpringly quiet given the location in the middle of the center. Perfect location! Furthermore, the staff was really nice and spoke well English.

JIAJIA HOMY+B&B offers comfy accommodation with views of Xi'an Ancient Wall. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Wanda Plaza and several other malls can be found within 500 metres from the property. It was very clean and the room was exceptionally beautiful for the price. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.
