Even when nobody speaks english they always looked for a way to make them self understood and always solve my questions, they were so kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant is delicious and prices are very reazonable. The place is in a nice village one hour away from Beijing and close to the best viewpoint I have ever seen of the great wall, simply fantastic.

Boasting city views, Refactoring Space Beijing Wang Fu Jing features accommodation with a terrace, around 3.2 km from Forbidden City. This guest house provides accommodation with a balcony. Location is perfect, very close to two subway station. Girl at the reception was super cute, very funny and helpful. The hotel has no any sign so you just follow the main image. Also it’s a pretty coffee shop rich you have to go through to reach your room.

With Lianfeng Mountain Park reachable in 4.2 km, Guixu Huatang Homestay offers accommodation, a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. The owner was so patient and nice to us, their parents help us with our necessities, like the crib and lend us the fridge to storage our baby's milk.

Although I did not have a room with a view, as soon as I got out into the corridor, I was surrounded by the beauty of the rugged landscape rising far above, bearing a section of the Great Wall. Having few guests at that rapidly turning wintry weather, the proprietress accompanied me the next day on a 6-km 6-hour walk on the Wall starting from the Guesthouse in Derunju Village. It was a sunny day and this turned out a glorious walk, in which my warm-hearted host showed me every consideration, and we were as companionable as old friends. She told everyone we met that I was 79 and from Malaysia. We climbed up to more than one hill station, the steps in some places being knee-high, and at one point we could see on the opposite side of the lake the section of the Great Wall where it slopes dramatically into the water. In the evening, I feasted on my host’s heartily delicious cuisine… And over the few days of my stay she cooked hot sour soup, jiaozi (northern dumplings) eaten with extremely hot chilli oil, local millet porridge, freshly caught local fish in a local sauce, and home-grown vegetables... We went on a road trip to see some other local sights as well; and I was also very grateful that she helped arrange a taxi for my onward trip to Beijing city. Many thanks for an unforgettable visit. Offering a restaurant, 北京城涛小筑客栈Chengtiao Xiaozhu is located in Miyun. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning. A great place to stay to visit the great wall and experience a peaceful Chinese village. The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.

Sometimes you see these high scores and become doubtful, but this place is legit. It is in such a perfect area if your goal is the Great Wall. Quiet and so cute. I was the only one there so it was about but I can’t wait to go back. She offers meals so that takes out the hassle of where you’re going to eat. It’s really good food. Bring cash to pay if you don’t have any of the payment apps that are used all over Beijing. This is a must stay.

A wonderful hotel, the staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!!!

Happy Pang Song Home is set in Miyun, 33 km from Bangchui Mountain and 34 km from Qinglianggu Hill. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Rooms come with a TV. You will find a kettle in the room. Beautiful area, easy to get to from station (walk down the wooden stairs) Host is absolutely amazing and speaks good English ! Definitely would recommend this place
