This is one of the most amazing places I've stayed in. Big and very clean rooms. The shared bathroom was very clean and they offer all kinds of toiletries. Wet wipes, hand sanitiser, etc. The kitchen was great and it is self serving breakfast but you have eggs, fruit, tea, etc. The host will drive you to and from downtown for no additional cost and he is amazing. Anything you need, he's gonna try and get it for you. On top of all, it was more affordable than the other places in the area.

We loved our stay at Demaris and Francisco’s home in Punta Arenas! It was like staying with a family. They were SO SWEET! We booked our stay last-minute after returning our camper van, and when we got to their house, they welcomed us like family. They were very sweet, and prepared everything for us. The guest room was super clean and cozy, and the bathroom was really clean with hot shower. There was a little common area upstairs complete with a TV, microwave, etc. The house is about 10-15 minute drive from the city center, but it costs us $2 USD TO Uber to the city center. They also offered to take us to the airport the next morning, so it was very convenient. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEMARIS’ PLACE IF YOU WANT AN AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE! I’M SO GLAD WE BOOKED THIS! Hostal Fernando de Magalhaes offers accommodation in the district of Cerro de la Cruz in Punta Arenas. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Great experience. The owner and the staff in general were very helpful and welcoming. The place was very clean and the room was bright and warm (no need for thick pijamas). Breakfast was generous and tasty. I thought the location was very good as well, though not right at downtown, but they have a great view and honestly it's a nice walk to the shore and other places. I recommend it 100%.
