Meals were self-catered, and facilities always clean. Filtered water available to all… food left by guests marked “available” (Many thanks! 😊) The environment was richly tropical, with the welcome sound of roosters herding their brood thru the gardens each morning and occasional church bells… otherwise superbly peaceful and relaxed! The small pool and well-maintained hot tub were a welcome bonus! The young managers kept their eyes on all facilities yet never interfered with the quiet enjoyment by a well-balanced clientele. Te Ariki ticked every box… and Rapa Nui was The Highlight of my 3-month, 3-country journey.

We enjoyed staying in the hostal. Maria, the host, helped us with various things, she was very friendly and attentive. The value of comfort/location/price is ideal. The price is low as compared to the hotels, it is locatied not far from the center of the city, near the beach, Ahu Tahai where you can make amazing photos of the sunset is within walking distance from the hostal. If we come back to Rapa Nui, we will book the hostal again with no doubts. Thank you very much!

They made us feel at home as soon as we landed, and their five diamond breakfasts (and packed lunch) kept us full throughout the days we were there.

Exceeded expectation Carlos and Yolanda are such wonderful people. It was honestly like a home away from home. It's a nice little walk to town, and you're far enough away that you get the tranquility of the countryside. Carlos was so nice to pick me up and drive me to the airport. Would give a higher rating if I could can't recommend this spot enough
