I have visited many many hostels but this has so far been the absolutely best in many ways. The price is amazing for the quality that you get. Outside the place looks like a normal house but after you walk to the backyard you see the beauty of it all. The place was pretty, quiet and the staff were super nice people. I felt like at home. Situated in Vicuña in the Coquimbo Region region, Casa Ollagua has a garden. This guest house features free private parking and a shared kitchen. Wow the sky was incredible. Our hosts could not have been more gracious, kind and welcoming and the room itself was very good with super comfortable beds. We slept the sleep of the dead as the heat of the day cooled down a lot making the room perfectly cool for a fabulous night's sleep. We loved everything about the place and did I mention the sky? Oh wait...

Very welcoming staff/host and grounds are very relaxing and comfortable. Short walk to the center of town. They gave some excellent recommendations on what to see and do locally. Would stay again if I return to Vicuña.

Located in Pisco Elqui, Elquihostel offers a terrace. This guest house features a garden and free private parking. The entire place was very clean and looked like new. The dorm room for 6 was lovely and had good storage lockers. The outdoor kitchen was beautiful and decently equipped and I enjoyed using the pool in the afternoons when the sun was over it. I was only guest there at the time so had the entire place to myself and it was beautiful. Eggs, bread and juice in the fridge was a really nice touch too! Pisco Elqui is a small place so location wise it was good as everything is within walking distance including the bus stop.
