Pablo is an amazing host and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast is also really good with delicious jams and fruits from the garden. All in all we had a perfect stay in La Serena.

As far as we know, Rafael has two passions: 1. the night sky (and sharing his great knowledge of it with you, if you’re interested), and 2. ensuring you enjoy your time in the valley and at the casa. If you let them, they’ll make you feel a part of their own family. And besides that, the views are beautiful too. Especially at night. It’s an awesome place if you love nature and want some time to relax. Please be kind to Gloria & Rafael, and I’m 100% sure they will return that kindness a thousand fold!

In addition, the rooms are equipped with heating and a TV with cable channels. Very welcoming staff/host and grounds are very relaxing and comfortable. Short walk to the center of town. They gave some excellent recommendations on what to see and do locally. Would stay again if I return to Vicuña.
