Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Hanlon Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Stanley, 400 metres from Godfreys Beach. I slept here for ten hours straight! It was incredibly quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the penguin viewing spot. The internet connection is great, and I could log into Netflix on the TV to watch shows.

I generally don’t like staying at B&Bs because I feel they are too confining or not private enough. But this is totally the opposite. Stuart and Judy are marvelous hosts - there when you need suggestions and adjust to your individual needs. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed with a cozy private veranda. It is close to everything and across the street from a spectacular beach. And the food is to die for. We had the marvelous included breakfast and cheese tray but also ordered dinner which was a great home cooked meal. We stayed two nights but could have stayed longer. I recommend this to anyone traveling through or hoping to stay in the Bay of Fires/St Helen’s/ Scamander area. You will be glad you did.

Assemblage Boutique Art B & B, a property with a garden, is located in Hobart, 3.9 km from Theatre Royal, 5.4 km from Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, as well as 3.4 km from Government... The beds were heated, just a few kilometers from the places we wanted to go to, some breakfast items we could grab, very kind host. What would you not like?

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Sleepy Hollow Hideout (Hidout 2) is situated in Forest. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Very spacious and well appointed room. It had all the facilities you need and more. The facilities were also well maintained and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable which was a welcome respite from our previous accommodation. There were lots of little touches by the host that made for an enjoyable stay.

Penguin Seaside Homestay is situated 300 metres from Penguin and its lovely beach. It offers 160 degree views of the ocean and township. The property is a 5-minute walk to the beach and shops. Homey little place to stay with wonderful hosts and great views! The added puppy love was a delightful bonus! Wayne and Sue are great and welcoming host and serve a delicious breakfast! Slept like a baby and felt very welcomed in their home! Thanks again Wayne and Sue! It was a pleasure to 😊 Fantastic view from the room. Watched sunrise from my bed!

The Cosy Cottage offers self-contained accommodation in Port Sorell. It features a cosy fireplace. The open-plan cottage includes full kitchen facilities, a TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Lovely large apartment. With everything you need. Host left eggs butter & jam in fridge. all the small things made our stay great. Very quit in country setting. Not fair from town. Shower good. Lots of space in unit. washing machine & drier also. Nice clothes line under Verandah. Lot of books & dvds.

Richmond Barracks offers 3 self-contained cottages, located in a private garden setting, in the village of Richmond. The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).
