The Lightstation Studio has stunning views of the light station from your room. Fabulous staying in a heritage site especially once it is closed and no public around. Thought the exhibits were very interesting. Accommodation quite basic but it goes with the psyche of the place and after all the lighthouse keepers had it tougher. You have to take your own evening meal but the breakfast provided was alright and enjoyed the local marmalade on toast. I would recommend staying here, we thought it a highlight of The Great Ocean Road.

The bed is super comfortable and Caterina gave us a fantastic accommodated tour around their beautiful property (on which we could feed and meet the animals, including their dingos). In the morning, we could observe many nice birds. The accommodation is very quiet and conveniently located just outside of Apollo Bay.
