They were readily available to answer any questions we had and provided valuable local tips that made our trip even more enjoyable. One of the most refreshing aspects of our stay was that everything lived up to the description and photos provided online. There were no unpleasant surprises or discrepancies; rather, it exceeded our expectations in many ways. What we saw in the photos was precisely what we encountered upon arrival, which further reinforced the trustworthiness of the hosts. In conclusion, apartment was an absolute gem. From its cleanliness and spaciousness to the well-equipped kitchen and tranquil surroundings, every element contributed to a wonderful stay. The warmth and helpfulness of the hosts added a personal touch that made our experience truly unforgettable.

Offering garden views, Gästezimmer Ilse Brauneis is an accommodation situated in Mautern, 36 km from Melk Abbey and 7.2 km from Dürnstein Castle. Landlady was super helpful: we decided to stay one more night at the location, asked her during our breakfast but unfortunately her rooms were already booked, as it was Friday. Quick search in the booking.com app revealed most of the local properties were unavailable too, so she asked around and found an available room for us.

Situated in Erlauf and only 18 km from Melk Abbey, Harrauer´s Living features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Rooms was really beautiful, big and a beautiful scent of wood. Very clean and comfortable bed. The hostess was gentle and caring. She also suggested a really good burger place ...really great. Will gp back anytime im in the area.

Gästezimmer Rolea is situated in Dürnstein, a few steps from Dürnstein Castle, 28 km from Herzogenburg Monastery, and 40 km from Ottenstein Castle. We had such a perfect stay here. Beautiful room with balcony and amazing breakfast. Hosts are so incredibly lovely and friendly. One of the best places I've ever stayed in. Could not recommend it enough

Offering inner courtyard views, Weinhof - Gästehaus Maier is an accommodation set in Angern, 42 km from Melk Abbey and 14 km from Dürnstein Castle. Wonderful place and people. Internet did not work on my computer but the team worked to find a solution and it worked. I was with my bike and there is no restaurant on site - regular guests invited me to join them for dinner and it was a memorable evening in great company. Thank you!

Very cute little place with an amazing view and nice little garden. The hostess made us feel welcome and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Just 100 metres from the Danube River, this property in Wösendorf offers modern rooms, a buffet breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Vineyards and local wine taverns (Heurige) are within a 5-mintue walk. The guesthouse is a beautiful building with a lot of history and character. The location is perfect for exploring the Wachau valley and they even provide bikes for doing so. Silke is a wonderful host, she gave us some great recommendations for cycle pathways and short walks with stunning views. The breakfast provided is plentiful and really delicious, worth the extra cost. We really enjoyed some time in the garden trying some of Weingut Langmayer‘s wines, we even brought a couple of bottles back with us. I would thoroughly recommended this guesthouse, this was one of our most enjoyable holidays.
