Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
It was a lovely quiet place on a peaceful street. Great to have a kitchen and relax in the day. The Blue Hen Cafe on the corner was delicious and treated us like locals on our second visit.
The property is located on a private site in a very quiet and idyllic location, although within around 3 miles from shopping and restaurant locations.
As a newly renovated property, it has all the facilities that you need for a home-from-home stay. Laundry, smart tv, full kitchen... etc. There is a tennis/pickle ball court, lake with fish and a swing-seat, fountain, extensive grounds, etc.
The hosts are absolutely brilliant. Friendly, courteous, helpful - everything you could ask for. I am already looking to organise my next stay there.
I loved the location and overall feel of the environment. Set in the dunes with lush vegetation all around, I felt as though I was staying in a private home instead of a hotel. I had a corner room on the 2nd floor, so i felt as though the ocean and the sunrises each morning were in arm's reach. The view was spectacular!
