The chalet exceeded our expectations. It's a cute little cabin in the woods, beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and of course the lake just adds to the experience. The cabin is fully equipped, well functioning bathroom and kitchen, big comfy bed. It's very cosy with vintage, hunter style decor. The owner lives just next door and is the nicest and the most helpful person you will ever meet. Location-wise, also amazing as very close to Yosemite. There is a shop in Bass Lake, where you can get pretty much everything, but there's also a bigg-ish town nearby Oakhurst with supermarkets etc.

We’ve stayed in the tiny house. It was really great. Although it was very hot the a/c worked good. Also in the nighttime it’s really beautiful to sit outside and watch the stars. And the best thing was of course Daniela her home made Italian food. It was delicious!! The ride to Yosemite is also manageable. Keep up the good work Daniela, we’ll definitely come back some day.

The host was very accommodating. My family and I always felt very welcomed. It was 30 mins away from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, but it was a great location since we got to explore Mariposa Grove and move our way up to Yosemite Valley. The place itself was very spacious and had everything we needed (plates, cups, board games, fridge, etc.). We enjoyed the tables and grill outside the house, but most of all THE WILDLIFE!

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Clean, well furnished, spacious, quiet, great host, parking space, complimentary wine, coffee and tea, kitchen had almost everything we needed (except for baking sheets and corkscrew). Pictures are a fair description of the space (it actually felt more spacious in real life). Nice balcony (no neighbours in sight), although there's an adjacent unit, it felt private enough.
Quirky fun accommodation with everything we needed. Great location, easy to get to nearest town and eady access to Yosemites sights. Lovely host, he lit a fire pit for us and gave us great advice on places to visit.

Great host. Good communication. Comfortable place to stay. Pictures representative. Definitely happy we stayed here over a hotel in the area. Host was also kind enough to buy a crib for our baby which was comfortable for her too. Rooms are spacious. Space was very clean.
Vicky was a great host she was attentive to all our needs. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The beds were confortable and the shower had a lot of hot water and good pressure. We had a great stay.
Everything! Wona is a great host. The room is in a great location, and it is full of great amenities. There are some lovely little touches like coffee, tea, breakfast, drinks... The bed is huge and really comfortable. And the views in the morning are amazing! 100% recommended.
