Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We had a very nice time in Micheal's house. he is a great host. he responded to our questions within half an hour with many suggestions. from the house the beaches, center and restaurants can be reached within 30 minutes.
The hotel is in a perfect location. We like to walk and we could walk to all of the main attractions that we wanted to visit. The food in the restaurant is fabulous, even locals ate there. It provided a good selection of South Carolinan cuisine. All of the staff were pleasant and efficient especially our server in the restaurant, she explained the food as are travelling from England and was unfamiliew with the entreas. The valet parking was worth the cost.
