Loved the ambience of the homestay with its view over the tea plantations, the garden with all the animals, and the fact that it was a drive away from Alishan National Park. We wouldn't have enjoyed staying in the park so we were happy that we rented a car. It gave us more flexibility (and you could park at the homestay).
The accommodation was spacious and clean, the food was tasty and the hostess was super friendly. Despite her not speaking any English, she made it work with her translation app. Thank you for the hospitality! We would stay here again!

Very nice place to stay, the hosts are really attentive and lovely and give you a nice introduction to the tea culture in the area. The room and bathroom were really clean, good water pressure and amenities. We got an amazing Taiwanese breakfast too. For dinner, the host drove us to the hot pot restaurant on the other side of town.
