The hosts were very helpful! Told us about some interesting "tea trails" and drove ahead of us to take us to the trailhead while they were on their way to pick up their daughter from school.

Excellent and warm host. Delicious and homely dinner made with local/own grown produce. Host is available to fetch you from Shizhuo bus stop to the stay from 2PM onwards.
Unless you have a car, plan your visit to Shizhuo well and choose a stay close to the things you want to see as hike trailheads/ attractions can be far apart from each other. With that said there are enough interesting things near to this stay like the coffeeshop which offers regional beans and a decent hike!
