Breakfast is more than satisfying!
I recommend doing the full day trek (with bamboo cooking for lunch), it's advertised in the lobby/living room of the guesthouse. Ask the owner to book it for you. This was by far the best day we had in Chang Rai

The location is good for the airport and a little farther from town, but they gave us a ride for free to the night market, they also took us to the airport the next morning! They woke up early to prepare breakfast for us, the breakfast was toast, egg, sausages, salad, coffee, milk, butter, some biscuits and crackers.
The city had been flooded a few days before our arrival but everything was clean and prepared to accommodate us.

We booked a family and a double room and we enjoyed the rustic feel of the property very much. The owner has been putting in lots of effort to beautify the garden and surrounding environment, making it very very pleasant to stay in. Besides, the property was also very family-friendly and provided a big and comfortable baby cot for my infant, which was really out of my expectation. The owner of the property was very helpful in fulfilling our needs. We checked in to the property after 7 p.m. and it could be hard to look for food in the area. However, they recommended a very nice Thai local restaurant nearby and were kind enough to send us there, help us translate, and complete the ordering (the menu is written in Thai language), which I appreciate a lot. They have a bar area where you can get your drinks (coffee and tea), and you can enjoy it by the pool of Koi fish. Not forget to mention the reading area with an array of books for you to read. The place is very suitable for someone who likes to relax and be surrounded by plants and flowers. Besides, the owner also provides professional oil massage services on an appointment basis. If you are lucky, you might even get to enjoy a free foot massage from the apprentices as part of their training program.

My room was very nice. It was quiet, clean, modern, and comfortable. I slept well. The owner, Toddy, was especially nice and helpful. My visit was just after the floods in the area and I know Toddy had extensive damage to his home, but he was still very enthusiastic, pleasant, and caring about the guests at his hotel. He provided a lot of info about the tourist sights and transportation options. Breakfast was also delicious and he has espresso machines and quality coffee. I enjoyed my stay.

I was looking for a quiet break from the city and this homestay was it. There were free bicycles to use (nothing fancy though). The wooden interior is beautiful and the balcony was perfect for me to lay out my travel yoga mat and meditate.
A perfect located homestay close to Chiang Rai. Surrounded by pineapple fields, peaceful environment and warm owners, this wonderful homestay was our best hotel during our stay in Thailand. Well decorated, clean and comfort rooms, strong wifi, satisfying breakfast and lovely owners are just few of the values you get while staying there. 10/10 we will be back!!! Nature lovers- this is THE place for you.
