The personnel were super kind and helpful. The restaurant is of a very good quality for both dinner and breakfast. The location is perfect too with the Peričnik waterfall being very close-by and other beautiful attractions such as lake Jasna with its waterfall, the Zelenci nature reserve and Russian Chapel at comfortable driving distance. - the room are wide and clean and with a beautiful view
- it has a nice stream just across the property and hiking paths starting vrom the very location
- the best hiking we had in the area acctually started from the proximity of the villa. It was the path to Martuljek waterfall up to a little chalet on the mountain. (in our path we saw three waterfalls and the incredible turcoase water of the Martuljek river - specific to slovenian rivers). We did this hiking with a 10 year old child and a brave french bulldog (in a 3 hours pleasant circuit in the evening).

The location was ideal for us as it gave us access to explore the areas we were interested in without always needing to use the car. We enjoyed the benefit of the free bus service into Bled. The hamlet is peaceful and so we were not affected by street noise etc. A few minutes away there is a good restaurant with a varied menu serving quality food in large servings and even in high season we never waited long to be seated. The breakfast was varied with homemade cakes and jams and the hosts were friendly and informative. On our last day we arranged to do the zip line tour and Gregor kindly arranged with the company for a local pickup and return for us so we did not need to drive into Bled and find a parking space during a very busy holiday time.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The view from the terrace is enchanting. The space is decorated carefully and with lovely details, and the bad was extremely comfortable. Vesna was a great host and she welcomed us with ice cream. Highly recommended and for sure we will be back again.
Amazing Stone and wood cottage in a stunning alpine village! I thoughley enjoyed my staff. The young lady who checked me in was super sweet. More like a home stay than a hostel. I could tell alot of love has gone into this hostel to make it a wonderful stay for guests. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything you needed to cook after a day of hiking in the mountains.
Ursa and Katja are lovely hosts who were very knowledgable about Slovenia and the mountains. Nice location in a quiet village. Walking distance to the small supermarket and a few restaurants. Everywhere clean. Washing machine and dryer available upstairs. Kitchen well equipped. Also rented a mountain bike from the hostel; I think they can also rent via ferrata kit.
Beautiful views out of the window, a well-equipped kitchen, and a great host who gave us lots of info and tips for what to do. Was a good base for travelling around the gorgeous area. Great for a family, with lots of rooms.
absolutely lovely host Ana, very welcoming and kind. Ana lives upstairs and is there if you need anything. we sat in the garden for dinner and drinks which Ana let’s her guests use. the apartment was very big and had everything you need. parking was easy. location was good.
