Maria's yard is a dream come true for families with children. It boasts of two comfortable hammocks, swings that hang from the shady walnut tree, and a gazebo that provides ultimate privacy. The house is situated in a serene location, making it a perfect spot to relax. Maria's pets, consisting of two friendly cats, gentle puppies, and a lovely pony, add to the charm of the place.
We were full of energy and feeling great, and we delved further into the essence of the location when Maria arranged a dinner evening at the sheepfold, and we also observed the sheep being milked.

The family dogs, Bella and Bella (mother and daughter), were adorable and gave us lots of fun.
Highly recommend ordering breakfast (30 Lei) and dinner (60) ahead of time. The chicken noodle soup on dinner menu was mindblowing. Compared to restaurant dishes, the home cooked meals are not as salty. They provide huge amount of food for us and we had to tell the hosts to serve less and minimize waste.
Owners' son spoke English and responded quickly in messages.
Overall, very pleasant experience and our stay there for three nights was the highlight of our 2-week-long Romanian trip.

I can't say enough about our amazing stay at Casa Luca! My friends and I stayed in 3 separate double rooms for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The house is brand new, super-clean and beautiful! Breb has many guesthouses, but Casa Luca is special because of its great location on a small hill with no other houses too close by, so the view from the terrace is gorgeous! The family is very welcoming and will take care of you as your own. It's like a stay at your grandma's in the village. Andrea made 3-course dinners for us every night and all of them were very tasty and made from home-grown ingredients. We loved everything about Casa Luca and highly recommend it for a relaxing quiet time with family, friends or even by yourself.

Host family was very welcoming despite not speaking English (we managed with Google translate) and the meals were delicious amd cheap (breakfast 30 lei and dinner 70 lei pp). We were the only guests so we could have our pick of the rooms, which were clean and decorated with traditional handicrafts. Good wifi. Would recommend driving via Casa lu Docia to minimise the rocky areas but we did manage to drive out the other way in a regular car.
The area is absolutely gorgeous, the whole village is like a living open air museum. The hostel itself is very pretty and super cozy. The host family are amazing people, and just next door there's an inexpensive restaurant with locally sourced and very tasty food. I came for a couple of nights and stayed almost two weeks.
