The owners are very, very welcoming. Each evening we had a sweet treat and traditional bevarages were at our disposal everytime of the day (and night). The vilage is located in a valley with beautiful sightseeings. They have space and toys for children to play with. We were free to watch animals during the feeding procedure (cows and pigs) which was very interesting for the children. The roads are good, exept for a lenght of 50 meters near the house (gravel road). The rooms were spacious enough for our needs.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Breb, Romania. The setting was stunning, surrounded by breathtaking countryside and traditional charm. What a wonderful experience it was staying in La Lenuta in Susani for 7 days.
The joy of staying in a family compound , with the most caring and generous family members .
Being able to observe the daily activities of 3 generations working on their vegetable garden , feeding and caring for their cows chickens and pigs and cutting and drying grasses for animal feed + running a traditional restaurant was a great privilege and realisation how hard they work on a daily basis .
The accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean with lots of natural light , very comfortable queen bed and roomy functional bathroom .
We had dinner every day there , and the organic produce ( all from the compound ) was sensational .We had a different soup and main everyday and all prepared in the traditional Breb way by our host , who is a fabulous cook .
The organic produce , meats and dairy were show cased with her beautiful cooking and presentation , everyday . We didn’t want to leave !

Host family was very welcoming despite not speaking English (we managed with Google translate) and the meals were delicious amd cheap (breakfast 30 lei and dinner 70 lei pp). We were the only guests so we could have our pick of the rooms, which were clean and decorated with traditional handicrafts. Good wifi. Would recommend driving via Casa lu Docia to minimise the rocky areas but we did manage to drive out the other way in a regular car.
The area is absolutely gorgeous, the whole village is like a living open air museum. The hostel itself is very pretty and super cozy. The host family are amazing people, and just next door there's an inexpensive restaurant with locally sourced and very tasty food. I came for a couple of nights and stayed almost two weeks.
