Jose is really friendly and welcoming. We arrived late at night and he was patiently waiting for us and still took the time to give us plenty of useful advice on what to visit on the island. The view and the location of the bungalows is so beautiful. Minimarket, black sand beach, natural pools and nice restaurants are nearby. But most of all - Filipe is such a great host. He really helped us with everything and we could always contact him with everything kind of issues. So we even decided to prolong our stay and came back a second time. Thank you for everything and we will surely come back.
We stayed in apartment E, which was more beautiful than in the pictures. There is no aircon but we asked for a fan and got one so it was good. The bed could be a bit more modern. This apartment kans a large Balcony and the view is stunning. Antonio is a great host and veri helpful.
Leticia was a great host, she was really open to answer all our questions and doubts. You have a complete apartment for yourself, tons of space. The breakfast was the best during our roundtrip through Azores. There was variety of fruits, eggs and also cheese. Direct in the same location, there is a good restaurant, from which you can enjoy a great view of Pico.
Filipe was such a great host! He really made our Trip to Sao Jorge special, not only did tell us all about what to do on the island and where to but also was such an attentive host. The bungalo located centrally on the island which makes it a great place for exploring the island, however one should book a car for that. The bungalow even had a washing machine with a perfect view of mount pico and at night one could hear the sound of the azorean birds / wildlife.
