Serene little location with an amazing view of Douro Valley. The room was spacious and clean and the soaps smelled really nice! The welcome box / maybe breakfast box was also very thoughtful. It was very quiet and peaceful at night as well. Maybe one other person was staying next door.

An incredible century-old home, the location was incredible with great views of the village. The infinity pool area was such a pleasant surprise and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. Thank you to the friendly staff and our great host Joanna for making us feel so welcome and accommodating us and providing some great attractions in the area. Would love to be back someday.

The setting of the Casa amongst the hills was just beautiful the actual house itself is stunning! Very old world, it felt like a private home and that we were treasured guests The staff were exceptional and special thanks to Joanna who made everything run smoothly and was so welcoming. Loved the family dining and who doesn't love freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast? The views, are spectacular and did I mention the infinity pool?

The pool and views were stunning. The old house is very comfortable and has many of the original pieces of furniture. The staff are all lovely and Joanna is a great hostess. We enjoyed our dinners there, it was great chatting with other guests. Breakfast very nice.
