Wow, what a place! Stunning views of the Douro River and vineyards. The host is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the homemade breakfast is absolutely delicious. The shower is fantastic, and the pool and jacuzzi are amazing for relaxing. Truly an incredible spot—I highly recommend it and would love to come back!

This place is incredible! We stayed in the superior villa and the private upper level deck with a steam room and hot tub was amazing and made our stay. It was unfortunately rainy when we were there so we couldn’t enjoy the pool, but the pool area looked serene, was bigger than the pictures show and has amazing views!! The grounds are gorgeous with fruit trees everywhere and you can pick the fruit off the trees to eat. The room was modern, beautiful and clean! We came with two toddlers and they enjoyed exploring all the grounds, playing in the park, the tennis/football court and the hot tub. The breakfast was delicious with so much fresh fruit!
We enjoyed our stay here so much and would highly recommend it. The staff were lovely. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Gorgeous views from our room and everywhere on the property. It was so peaceful here. The perfect break for some R&R between exploring Porto and Lisbon.
We also walked down the road to Quinta Massora winery to get a bottle of wine which was a nice close treat!
A good location for a stress-free getaway in São Martinho de Mouros, Casa Cardoso is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Sergio was the perfect and considerate host, he was very welcoming to his generational family home. The weather did not cooperate to explore the garden. Very nice little town high above the Duoro.

I was very very impressed with the apartment everything you needed was there from towels to cooking wear and extra bedding for the cold nights, free WiFi too can’t fault it loved my stay at Cantinho da Quinta and a very good host nearby if needed to, well recommend .

An incredible century-old home, the location was incredible with great views of the village. The infinity pool area was such a pleasant surprise and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. The setting of the Casa amongst the hills was just beautiful the actual house itself is stunning! Very old world, it felt like a private home and that we were treasured guests The staff were exceptional and special thanks to Joanna who made everything run smoothly and was so welcoming. Loved the family dining and who doesn't love freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast? The views, are spectacular and did I mention the infinity pool?

The pool and views were stunning. The old house is very comfortable and has many of the original pieces of furniture. The staff are all lovely and Joanna is a great hostess. We enjoyed our dinners there, it was great chatting with other guests. Breakfast very nice.
