The hotel was on a quiet street. The entire building looked very nicely maintained, tidy and of higher than average quality. It has a mix of modern amenities and a genuine antique style. I liked the kitchen, the availability of a lounge area and a space to work comfortably on your computer.
The wooden window lids helped additionally with minimizing any noise from outside.
The pillows were quite comfortable.
My room was one a really big one. Others were smaller.
The hotel is very close to the old city center. There are supermarkets a few minutes away by foot and the bus station is also quite close. 5 minutes away there's a delicious restaurant - Museu do Presunto.

The breakfast was nicely presented with very good coffee. Luis was helpful and charming. For visitng Guimaraes you could not be better placed. The local public car park cost 6 euros for 24 hours and was 2 minutes away.

It could be a really good hostel, if they didn't cheat and deceive tourists, and don't lough in their face. DON'T BUY BREAKFAST!
Gabriela is a great host. She had left us a bottle of wine, water, toiletries and coffee pods.
She gave us plenty of information on our arrival via WhatsApp and made sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfasts are lovely and left in a basket by the door.

The hotel was good for it's price. It provides all that you need in order to have somewhere to sleep and explore the general area.
The parking in the front wasn't that big but the free municipal parking nearby serves really well.
The rooms were clean and the staff really helpful, especially when it came to some issues with the locals.
Easy check-in, lovely host. Excellent location in the middle of town, but still quiet at night.
