Casa de Sezim is a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had entered a different world. The grounds are magical, and the house itself is a step back into another time. The staff were all so lovely. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and we had a special dinner on our first night, which made everything even more memorable. Guimares is also a special place to visit. We were able to call an Uber easily to go into Guimaraes for dinner on a Saturday night.
Also, a gorgeous jack russell to keep us company.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Fatima was a lovely hostess. We enjoyed the central location in the heart of the historic district. We were not bothered by sound. The heat worked well. We look forward to visiting this property again on future trips to Guimaraes.
Wonderful balance between the amenities and comfort of a hotel and friendliness and possibilities to chat with interesting people of a hostel! Impecably clean, wonderfully located, free parking could be found on the same street a bit further. Very nice room. Super comfortable beds.
It could be a really good hostel, if they didn't cheat and deceive tourists, and don't lough in their face. DON'T BUY BREAKFAST!
Gabriela is a great host. She had left us a bottle of wine, water, toiletries and coffee pods.
She gave us plenty of information on our arrival via WhatsApp and made sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfasts are lovely and left in a basket by the door.
The apartment is large and very comfortable.

The hotel was good for it's price. It provides all that you need in order to have somewhere to sleep and explore the general area.
The parking in the front wasn't that big but the free municipal parking nearby serves really well.
The rooms were clean and the staff really helpful, especially when it came to some issues with the locals.
