Beautiful Quinta in the Alentejo region with traditional architecture and quiet surroundings. The rooms are well-equipped and the decoration is pretty. The surroundings are beautiful and there are many quiet places outside within the property for you to relax and enjoy the sunset.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Our lovely host Ana met us when we arrived and immediately welcomed us with a cup of tea. She was a font of knowledge about Portugal and gave us many good tips on where we should visit. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet but not too far from places of interest. We had the use of a well appointed kitchen and Ana served us a delicious breakfast. We were very sad that we could only stay one night.

Lovely familiar atmosphere, spacious, comfortable and very clean room with private bathroom. Lovely breakfast with good yoghurt, red fruit and cereals and good coffee. Ana is a lovely host that makes you feel welcome. I want to come again!
Lovely host was there to greet us upon arrival. Beautifully furnished house and guest room. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the garden. Everything was very clean. Delicious breakfast the next morning with everything imaginable including lots of cakes. Secure parking for our car.
What a joy to stay here. Lovely host and hostess, super friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast with a very nice view. The room was spacious and cool (even when it's hot outside). And location was a perfect starting point for some hikes as well.
