Beautiful country house in Valle de Anton with well appointed spacious rooms and a wonderful natural thermal water pool. So fun to feed the ducks, geese and chickens with our daughter. The host was super friendly, helpful and very attentive to details. Unique to this stay is the possibility of having a massage therapist. I have suffered from debilitating back and neck aches due to posture in my profession and one massage session focusing on trigger points and large muscular knots (different than anything I've ever had in the US) dramatically improved my pain and headaches. We're seriously considering coming back just for this periodically!
Offering inner courtyard views, La Casita de Don Daniel in Valle de Anton provides accommodations, barbecue facilities, and a shared lounge. With river views, this accommodation offers a patio.

The owner of the place is super friendly and helpful. He let me use the bike, which made moving around the town much easier. Also, he took me to the bus stop to help catch the last bus for the day.
The place was basic, but very clean. It's located very close to La India Dormida Trail.

Especially I liked the laundry service. Very convenient!
Although El Zumbito is not located exactly in the center of El Valle de Anton, its location is very suitable for hiking. The hiking trail to the mountain La India Dormida starts directly at El Zumbito. I enjoyed this hike very much!

Bella & Rene are very kind, friendly & helpful. The breakfasts were nice and the bed was very comfortable. We had a separate outside entrance and a nice private patio. It is quiet & relaxing here but can be very windy.
There is a lovely hiking area along a river nearby that Bella told us about. It was cool and beautiful there.
There are no nearby restaurants but you can bring food with you ( there's a small kitchenette) or Bella will cook dinner for you for an extra fee.

Liz and José are exceptionally great hosts. They treat you as part of their family, help you with a lot of knowledge and helpful advices. The accommodation is lovely and very clean. The breakfast is freshly made and very tasty. If you have any questions or need help, Liz and José are always there for you. We can highly recommend this accommodation and will be happy to come back.
Ayled and Gilberto are such kind and lovely hosts! Breakfast was really good and the old house has it's own special charme. The view over valle town is simply incredible. Accessibility may be a bit of a challenge, though that's most likely gonna change in the future.
Super cozy home stay with the best host. Liz; you are amazing! The home is super clean, the bathroom and bedroom are all you need. The location is also good, close to the start of the india dormidia trail and a short walk to the heart of the town. Liz even does mani and pedicures. Breakfast is basic but good. All in all we loved our stay with this family.
Perfect. Extremely friendly hosts Liz and José. Communication in a mixture of Spanish and English was no problem. Living the mi casa es su casa life, felt more like a homestay. In addition to the breakfast we could use the kitchen (coffee, tea, bananas) and were often invited to join for the other meals as well. José is also a knowledgeable guide and offered to join us on hikes. The bathroom is shared but there are only two rooms for rent and while we were there, no one else was using it.
Very clean, nice decoration, very close to the India Dormida hiking. There was tea and coffee available for breakfast.
Jason welcomed us in a very friendly and professional way. He is a great host. He was always reachable to help us during our stay and advised us about what to do in the area.
