The double bed was comfortable, but not a King size as advertised.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The owner of the homestay is very enthusiastic. The room is very large, view is good, and it is convenient to park. There is a washing machine and dryer, as well as a kettle.
Everything about the stay was amazing. Great hosts, welcoming and comfortable staff, great outdoor hot tub, it was definitely worth it and would love to stay again
Tony is such a lovely host. I had a lovely room with balcony and a mineral spa! Great to sit on the balcony and catch the lake views and amazing sunset. Mineral spa is such a bonus to soak away your tiredness from travel. The room was super clean and every facility was great. Right across from lake Taupo meant that lakeside walks and to the center was very handy. Thank you Tony!
