A nice location off the beaten track but not so far that you're far away from everything. You can hear the motorway traffic.
I stayed here 2 nights 1st night in room 7 second night in room 6. Room 7 has its own outside area but there is no seating and the spa that's mentioned was not on or able to be used. The room had a queen and single bed in it.
You simply check yourself in and are left to sort yourself out no host is seen upon check in or check out.
The free use of the washer and dryer is a bonus if you are needing those facilities.
The shower has really good pressure and the toiletries provided are really nice as well.
Stand alone family house - Pukekohe is set in Helvetia, 42 km from Howick Historical Village, 44 km from Mount Smart Stadium, as well as 45 km from Ellerslie Racecourse.

After a day of unsuccessful hitchhiking from Auckland to Tauranga, I was warmly welcomed by Fasil, Bahrath, and Rami, who really created a great atmosphere. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing. I’ll remember their kindness and spirit of sharing. As I’m still learning English, it was cool to practice pronunciation with them. If you're a backpacker or not, and you're passing through, just go for it without thinking! Good neighborhood 😉 Hope to see you again

I was moving house - the removal company had all my possessions and I needed to somewhere to stay the night until my things arrived the next day. I couldn't have found a better place. The apartment was immaculate and the bed super-comfy. I had the best nights' sleep. Louanne is a mine of information about the area. And I met beautiful Zinzi (the cat).
