It was obvious that the hosts put a lot of thought in building, furnishing, equipping and decorating of the place and thought of all the small details, including a helpful welcome book.
The whole place is new and super clean.
It’s also really nice to have a garden and terrace.
The location is great, you can start for a walk from the garden and explore the river and beach or drive to one of the nearby wineries or go for a hike at Te Mata Peak.
The hosts are nice and helpful.
Internet is good, TV has Netflix etc, and there is even a washing machine.
This has definitely been the nicest stay in NZ within that price range and we would happily come back anytime!

A beautiful little bed and breakfast decorated with immaculate detail to represent the Art Deco style of Napier. It was like staying in a mini-museum. Lovely host, only a short drive to Napier city, and very warm and cosy. Would highly recommend!
Lovely house in beautiful gardens. Very comfy bed and facilities. Great Host , we arrived in the dark and Bren was so welcoming and gave us extra bread for a simple evening meal as we had eaten earlier. Great choice of teas etc and goodies to go on our toast. Beautiful private villa, within the grounds of the host's private home. Very quiet and secluded, I can see the attention to detail and the quality of the furnishings. The bed is of exceptional note - a big Cali king which is super comfy. Nice touches include 2 separate seating areas, one next to the pool and one around the back overlooking a little garden. I was very self-sufficient with a perfect kitchenette and ensuite bathroom and off-street parking.
