The room was luxurious - spacious with a comfortable bed. Our hosts were lovely, and the grounds were nice to wander around. The spa was also nice to relax in at the end of the day.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Beautiful residence, gorgeous gardens, stylish rooms with everything you need and a lovely continental breakfast. We enjoyed the hot tub, but missed out on the sauna unfortunately as we forgot to turn it on! Next time though - we'll definitely be back :) Matt & Brooke are great hosts.
Very cozy and comfy accommodation with great hosts. Cooked breakfast was so delicious. Hot tub and sauna were fab. Lots of thoughtful touches that were appreciated.
The gardens at the Fern and Thistle were gorgeous, with roses blooming everywhere. The house was an historic building from 1914, in authentic condition with period fixtures, it was delightful. The host family were very inviting, including the pets, Lola the black retriever.
Super friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. Good restaurant and pub on site. Welcomed by locals in bar.
