I had THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the classic malay house!
First, the hotel contacted me to change my room and didn’t reply my question till I asked again after two days.
I selected to arrive after 12 when I made the reservation and the hotel didn’t have a problem at that point. When I messaged the hotel when I arrived around 12:30, they didn’t respond again and didn’t pick up my call neither. The door was locked when I arrived the hotel. I tried to knock the door and call the hotel and booking. No one showed up to help. I waited for around one hour. I was homeless at 2 am in a strange country. I was exhausted after the flight and I had to pay 500 to find another accommodation.
The next day, the only thing I could do is ask for a refund since I never checked in. Again no response at all for 4 days. The host is VERY RUDE! You could at least say sorry we can’t refund or try to communicate. I have never had this kind of experience in any country.
The place looks great from the pictures but I absolutely not recommend it after this terrible experience. Not happy with Booking neither!

To find a breakfast is easy that is around the property not too far. Better for guest that prefer Muslim homestay. Since i just staying for sleeping only which is not staying long time, this places a very comfort for rest. Recommended to who looking comfort and clean place.

This is my 2nd booking for the homestay as I truly love the design cause its beautiful. I like the furnitures prepared in the homestay, got a fridge, microwave too besides than beds and washroom. It’s very convenient. Also, the host has improved in preparing the cleanliness of the homestay. No more roaches issue! I have no doubt to book again the same homestay in future whenever I need it 🥰
