Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
It was superclean! Hostels in Europe could learn something. The host family was so helpful and friendly. Would definetly stay here again. Thank you for the help with our loop and for making us feel welcome ❤️
Great hostel! The owner is very helpful and has good information about the loop. You can leave your bag in a locked room and the hostel is very clean and quiet. I stayed one night before the loop and came back and stayed here again after the loop. 10/10!
I stayed twice, before and after the loop. One room just Ok, the other one shabby and bathroom smelly.. Ok bed, wifi ok, AC but no fan or mosquito net, but few mosquitoes when i was there. Good restaurant and communal area, with excellent real coffee. Very nice garden area. Efficiently run by a very hospitable host family - so kind that it made up for the deficiencies in the rooms which, just on their own, I'd rate at a 4 and 6 (two differet rooms). Really helpful with information and onward transport.

Great hostel, the owners Binh and Chang are so friendly and welcoming. This was one of the cleanest hostels we have ever stayed in, with it being cleaned constantly throughout the day! The beds were comfy with privacy curtains. If we were passing through Thakhek again we would not hesitate to stay here again
Great hostel to start the thakhek loop from! Mr Noy was very helpful with renting the bike and giving me a map of the route with lots of details for great stops! He also helped me to book a bus ticket to Pakse and offered drop off at bus station and shower after the loop. Great stay, ຂອບໃຈ Mr Noy!
+ cheap place to get your head down before and after the Thakhek loop
+ lovely hosts
+ cheap rooms which are decent enough for the price especially if you are only staying one night
+ communal water refill and tea/coffee station
