I cannot recommend this guesthouse enough for the solo female traveler. The facilities were cozy and well-thought of, which shows a real consideration of female guests. I really appreciate the kindness of the host, Rinji-san, who went above and beyond by picking me up from the station even when my train was delayed. I appreciate the security too, perfect for putting my mind at ease especially at night.

It was easy to check in. There was a very nice onsen, Choei, right near by, just as desired. We checked out at 4:30am, and this was also simple. Too bad we missed the breakfast!

Quiet location. Available parking. The staff was friendly. Walking distance to the beach so did not to worried about parking. The the onsen was good. The room was a bit small for 3, but it was fine for sleeping.

The view from the room overlooking the sea is mind-soothing, so are the optional morning meditations in the temple right next door. Particularily suitable for solo travellers I find, the cheerful and attentive hosts are locals and will direct you with great interest. I will come back!
It's great location,, right next to shirahama beach and bus service. There' are no so many taxi, so next to bus stop is great 👍.
There are also free shuttle buses, but in certain time only.
Onsen is super cool, outdoor Onsen is a one natural .we didn't eat at hotel, but it easy to find nice food just along the street. We wish we could stay longer...
