If you want to going to use some specific bus routes like Hakone tozan bus H line, the location can be great.
The location is not crowded that I took a good sleep.
The female dormitory room only has 3 beds and even with a table and a chair, making it a place to talk and make friends (some others can have 6 or more beds, then the room is only for sleep, as the communication can be hard to happen)

I like the staff was very helpful and kind to us, it was pleasant to know him in person, its near to odawara station so if anyone wants to go to hakone, I super recommend this property and its pretty near the beach through the tunnel (hidden gem) 😊😊😊

The bed was comfortable, two can easily fit in the dorm double bed, shower was large and well equipped with soaps and shampoos, the bar area was big enough to hang out in, loved the price for a one night stay

The property was well maintained and had friendly staff. Sawano-san came to get me at the bus stop and made breakfast. I had a fantastic stay and it was definitely worth the price. It is secluded but that’s both good and bad. It’s nice to be far away from everything yet on the other hand the walk to talk is quite far. There are also not many street lamps so keep that in mind. The views amazing were amazing!

We stayed in the shared room. Beds were comfortable with decent pillows. Bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, and kitchen were clean. The common area was comfy with a bar to get a few drinks. The staff were very friendly and super helpful with recommendations and figuring out travel plans. Great value and good location. I would stay again!

Good communication with the owner, good location, surprisingly clean room with only 3 beds, it felt like I nearly had my own bedroom, cozy little bathroom and shower. There is a cocktail bar downstairs where locals meet but you hear nothing from the room
The room and house was perfect. Everything was very clean and the delightful owner left some small snacks and water for us. Really felt like an authentic home stay.
It was very close to the station and our car hire drop off location. The owner communicated well with us about the location and regarding our arrival time.

Exellent location near to the sea and not far from the station, very clean and calm place with the atmosphere of home stay. The visitors feel free. Not usual form of self check in with an outdoor tablet, that firstly seemed a little complicated, but in realty was simple and convinient. There is electric bicycle rental not far from, at the tourist information.
Surperb and most friendly staff. Most cannot speak English but can communicate via body language or Google translate, they were always willing to help no matter what the issue was. The hostel was always clean. A lovely bar and restaurant on the 3rd floor which even the locals visit; with a great view of the entrance of the castle. Guests can still bring own food to eat at restaurant, plus they have good free coffee!
