Not one thing I can complain about. The house is beautiful and situated closely to the train station. There is also an Onsen nearby which was really convenient. The manager Yuko was very friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the area. There are drinks and snacks in the kitchen which can be purchased for little money and save you the trip to the Konbini.

I'm giving a high rating for the warmth and hospitality of the host. She was very welcoming despite my delayed arrival, and immediately asked if I had eaten and then served me fresh homemade dumplings. She also took me to her favourite onsen with her daughter and friends, and offered me use of her bicycle. It felt a truly authentic experience. The host also speaks Chinese.
The room is like a homestay so is no frills. It feels lived in and very comfortable. I shared a bathroom with the host and her family and it felt like I was a part of the household.
I would stay again.

The room was spacious and clean. The Kaseiki dinner was good enough with the exception of the tempura being overdone. The black sand bath was quite soothing. The lighting made the different buildings very beautiful in the evening. Staff who spoke English were very help those who don't try to evade us and helped the locals first even though we were next in line.
