Very cozy and had everything we needed. Yoshi-san (the host) was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The room was spacious which is always great. There’s an onsen that’s available along with a jacuzzi as well. The hotel was an experience of its own.

Wonderful hospitable owner who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The property has a bicycle rental where you can rent either electric or regular bicycles to explore the surrounding area. WiFi worked well. Futons were cozy and the place itself was cozy in Japanese style. Despite the heat, we stayed nice in cool as the air conditioning worked wonderfully.

The room was really spacious and beautiful and futons were really comfy. It was so close to the lake, and the surrounding area was pretty and quiet. They have bicycle rental which is really nice.
Also, the staff is incredibly kind - while out cycling on the other side of the lake, heavy rain started and they came to pick us and our bike! The showers and Onsen were great!
Highly recommend, and if I ever find myself in Kawaguchiko area I’ll definitely book there again.

We liked everything about Kawaguchiko Station Inn and hopefully, we will be back one day! The owner/main receptionist was the best, provided us with a hose for cleaning our shoes after a very rainy hike as well as pointed us to where the washing machine was. Apart from that the rooms are so authentic and feel so nice to have a change from nice hotels in Tokyo. There was a matcha tea set in the room as well as super nicely fitting robes in the room for the gender-separated spas upstairs. The location is superb in front of the train station or buses for Mt. Fuji hike. The beds we made ourselves were very comfy.

We thought the traffic noise from the road will bother us. but that was a minor minor issue. With such good hosts other issue are trivial.
