This isn't a 3 star, 4 star, 5 star hotel. In fact, it's not a hotel at all. It's an apartment that I was lucky enough to have to myself.

If you're looking for perfection, you won't find it here. What you will find is a property that reminds you of going to Grandma's house apartment. It feels familiar and inviting. It has personality and soul.
The host will meet you for check-in to give you keys and answer a few questions. Maybe even a few suggestions on where to go and what to do. Make sure to ask basic questions about where things are located in the apartment (because remember "you've been there before" - ask about how to light the outside hallway! I almost fell down the stairs - hah (there is an elevator)).
The host will message you in the app to ask the arrival time (this is important because he will need to know when to meet you. I met at 1700 - first check-in hour)
The apartment is on the 3rd floor. There is a "living area" a nice size bathroom, and 2 rooms. 1 for you and the other of another guest (shared space). My room was quite large and had an out look to a great view.
You are very close to a grocery (1 minute walk) and the bus and train stations. Additionally, you are very close to the other attractions around town.
To get to Ortisei - Mt Seceda - you take the #350 bus that runs every hour. It'll cost around 11 euro for a round trip - there is a ticket station to help you.
Wifi is fast. The apartment is huble and clean. The area is safe and welcoming.
I recommend this gem if you're here for a night or two.

Kadaun where Eggentaller is situated is a lovely village at the outskirts of Bolzano/ Bozen. Conveniently situated for reaching Seceda, Latemar and the lakes. Eggentaler offers a refined rural mini- resort atmosphere, and fantastic food at the restaurant which is Michelin-listed. A nice swimming pool with sun shining on the deck well after 7PM in early August. Great time overall. Markus is a great host!

Great balcony and loft apartment that was clean and perfect for our short stay. The bolzano cards were a great addition allowing us free transport during our stay.
The apartment is located in the city center, in the best area of Bolzano. Below the apartment, there was also a famous pub frequented by locals. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Host very responsive. If it weren't for a negative incident for me, I would always return to this apartment for the convenience and cleanliness it offers.
The location was excellent. Lovely views from the rooftop and a great central location. Valentin was a great host and answered all questions very quickly - he even popped in to help with some TV problems.

The location is superb, on a quiet street, just a short walk to the old town with lots of shopping, eating places. Makes us feel like locals as the hotel is a residential area inside a courtyard. Staff was very friendly and helpful, waking early to book us a taxi to the train station :-)
This was a beautiful home stay style stay with the perfect location on the outskirts of town but frequent transport into town. The host family was extremely friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and the pool was great after a long hike!
