The place was cosy, and served us well as a refuge for a night before our onward journey. There were a number of restaurants nearby, so we did not have to venture far in our search. The host loaded the refrigerator so well that it could have fed at least twice the number of people for breakfast. The kitchen was outfitted like Mum was using it, so one other guest did actually cook a simple meal for her son.

Everything we needed was provided—coffee machine, kettle, towels, shower gel, shampoo, cotton pads, and more, which made our stay incredibly convenient and comfortable. But the best part was the hospitality! The host went above and beyond, taking the time to give us amazing recommendations and even sharing homemade bread, local alcohol, and shark with us. Perfectly placed close to Vík and almost next to the famous beach Reynisfjara. Large space in the common area. Plenty of parking space for our car. Very good that outdoor shoes are not allowed worn inside.

Really great experience in Vik. Hrund is a great host and even gave us a little shark & schnaps, typical Icelandic, we felt more like in a home than in a hotel. The position is also very good and strategic for all things around Vik. Recommended!
The property is perfect with exceptional view. We had a room with balcony. We could see the church of vik from our window. It was such a great stay. Great host and amazing services with perfect breakfast in the morning. The property also has a small crepes place in front of it. We spent a night here and we loved everything about this place. Would definitely recommend:)
