It was wonderful. Lovely hosts room was modern decorated, very comfortable and very clean. We didn’t have supper there as arriving late but if we stayed again would have supper, smelled delicious. Breakfast was lovely and gorgeous view of ocean from dining area and watched whales at breakfast. Amazing views.

It was pretty convenient, because we were doing the ring road and we needed a place to spend the night before arriving into Reikiavik again. It was in front of a restaurant that serves food from morning to 10 pm, which is not common in Iceland. There’s a gas station pretty near the property and a supply store. The room was spacious and clean.

We enjoyed this farm house! It was a homely lodging with a cute sitting room and heirloom art, cross-stitching, and furniture throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, and utensils for cooking. The beds (all singles or twins) were very comfortable, and the farm was very scenic. Overall it was a cozy change from the more modern and minimalist guesthouses that we stayed at for the majority of our trip.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
I can not say there was anything wrong, as this was simply a phenomenal stay. Beautiful modern room with good beds and a great shower, combined with great hosts and a splendid home-cooked meal while overlooking the sea. Simply wonderful. Breakfast buffet was perfect as well - really enjoyed the fresh bread. I would definitely come here again and I recommend this to everyone.
Perfect breakfast & highly recommend the dinner they offer. The room was very clean and cozy!
I will surely come back to this Guesthouse and their lovely hosts.
Magnificent accomodation with great hosts! Well decorated house, including a large common area with an exceptional view towards the ocean and two (shared) bathrooms for four guestrooms. The (optional) dinner provided three excellent courses highlighting the Islandic cuisine and provided a lovely possibility to chat with other guests as well as the hosts.
An incredible experience. Not content to offer an excellent accommodation, Brimslóð Atelier Guesthouse's lovely hosts cook delicious food for their guests around their large tables–the ocean visible from every window.
Lovely hosts, great dinner and breakfast, beautiful guesthouse.
We had a great view from our room. The host are very nice and helpful, giving great guiding tips.
We will be back.
