The host Shubham and gang and the Nepalese workers made our stay there truly memorable. We don't regret booking our stay with them. I was initially hesitant as it was really hot and the kids wanted a pool and despite messing Shubham about the booking with cancellations and rebooking, he still made us feel very welcome.
As a family of 4, he upgraded us to 2 rooms completely free of charge. Our booking included breakfast but he also provided us with the option of having all our meals (lunch and dinner) there as complimentary. We had dinner at the homestay for 3 nights as my son has dairy and peanut allergies and we just didn't want the hassle of trying to figure out safe places for him to eat. The Nepalese workers catered to his allergies and my son commented how much he loved the food there. I must admit, it was the best. The portions were generous and the food was super tasty.
Aside from that, we also had our laundry done there as a complimentary service. What a delight to have clean clothes instead of having to carry our dirty laundry as we had more stops planned in India.
The WiFi was excellent and the location very handy. There is a good convenience store just around the corner and restaurants nearby.
Throughout our stay, we met a few of Shubham's family - his sister, gf and nephew, Divyan and Wat made our stay there truly memorable. We had good conversations and connections. The Nepalese workers were so amenable and totally unassuming and courteous. Oh and also, he arranged for our transport to the airport on our last day (again, complimentary) and was personally there himself at 05:15 to send us off. I wish we could have stayed there longer.
I totally recommend you give this place a stay if you're planning a trip to Jaipur.

The balcony rooms don't have an AC but it is breezy and view from the rooftop is amazing. I would recommend this for people who want to stay for location and homely environment. This is not a Hostel, this is not a Hotel, this is a Homestay. Already after 1 day I felt like I am really at home there. I actually wanted to see more of the city, but it was so good to meet those people, that I spent a lot of time at home too. If you are interested in connecting with locals and feel safe this is the best place to be.

I spent one week in the Pratap
Bhawans homestay. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Also the bathroom has warm running water. The building is nice and located closed to the central part of Jaipur. The owner Mr Himanshu is a good cook and he cooked superb food for me for breakfast and dinner. Since i staid so many days i can say this home stay was like a home for me.
Le Fort Homestay is a little oasis in frenetic Jaipur. It has a lovely terrace to sit quietly with a drink, and eat right next to the fort walls, as well as enjoy a great view out to Jaipur city from the roof top, and watch the locals fly their paper kites from their rooftops. The cook is excellent, we loved everything he created from fresh, which was top quality. Our host was very helpful and knowledgeable about what to do, as well as organising our train travel to our next destination. It is also a good place to have your laundry done.
Sanjay was a lovely host in a beautiful homestay in a very safe neighborhood. The room is clean and decorated with love. We have a great list of places to visit not just seightseeing also restaurant and stores (we visit all!! Recommended). Sanjay is a very good cook, we would even come just for breakfast!

Aruj and his mother were lovely hosts. Very hospitable, helpful and knowledgeable about local Jaipur attractions. The homestay is in a quiet and beautiful side street close to some great restaurants and bars (e.g. Peacock restaurant). It's very easy to reach all the attractions by car or auto rickshaw which Aruj is more than happy to arrange for you. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Highly recommended!
Everything! It’s the best homestay I’ve ever stayed and not only in India. Wonderful house full of history, lovely hosts, spacious and very tastefully decorated bedrooms with bathrooms attached, tasty food - I recommend in 100% to stay here. It’s a gem in busy Jaipur :)
Michael was a great host! If you are coming in late at the airport (like us), the location is very convenient. They were very accommodating with early/late check-in/out. The Homestay is not directly on a main road so it is nicely quiet. The room was spacious and clean.
