The location was excellent, right in the center of town. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop all within walking distance. Close to the Black Water bridge with a lovely view from the lounge window. Good kitchen facilities with a microwave and tea & coffee readily available. Lovely bathroom with hot shower. Parking was nearby in a public car park for 1 euro a day! Finally Ray was an excellent host. Thank you!

Location was fantastic, in the country surrounded by lush landscape and beautiful potato fields. Landscaping around the house was beautiful with large trees and rock walls.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
An absolute find. Donal was a great host and made us feel like home. Photos don’t do justice what a great place that is. Loved everything about the place hope to be back
Ray, the host was super friendly and helped us upstairs with our luggage. Per the reviews, there are stairs to climb, and he is aware of the concerns, and made sure he helped get our heaviest bags up to our room. He spent plenty of time to let us know where everything was, recommended a few places for a pint, and also an excellent spot for breakfast the next morning. Great host.
Fabulous host, Bernie was a delight to meet. Very friendly, and great company during my stay. Accommodation was perfect, local bar a great place to meet and have a sing song with the locals from the village.
Ray was a great host, very helpful and sorted us out with a ride to Mitchellstown for a festival. Shout out to Brian or driver. Place was spotless and right in the middle of town. If I was going to Fermoy would definitely stay there again.
