The owners were very welcoming and hospitable. They gave us a lift to where we were heading that night. Very central location and the room was very spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable.

Fitz's Pub dinner across the road from the guesthouse was lovely the best part of our stay.
We called the hotel before booking online as it was late in the day and did not make our destination, and was told that we would need 2 rooms as there were 2 Adults 3 children (7, 15 & 16, 1 Double & 1 single in each room) also quoted €400 for both rooms. Declined phone offer and searched online for other accommodation and found the same accommodation €315 for 2 rooms. We booked on line and arrived after dark. When taken to our rooms, it had a double bed and 2 singles therefore one room was enough for my family. I asked the young polite gentleman on front desk to refund one room as it wasn't needed. His manager declined not caring that we where miss informed. Manager also refused to speak with me directly.
We then had to get staff over for the shower cord was broken and just poking out of the ceiling. The blind was thin and pub lights flashing till near midnight. Would recommend black out curtains for these rooms. The bedside tables were water damaged and single beds old and not stable. Breakfast was average compared to the previous night stay at the Plaza Hotel in Killarney 4 star €280 for 2 rooms 1 x queen & 1 single in each adjoining rooms.
Cullinan's which is owned by Hotel Doolin just across the road, is not worth what they are charging, barely 2 stars for this old place. The manager should have done the right thing and charged one room, we booked last minute, she was not missing another booking for that night at that time in the late afternoon, greedy!!

Clare and Michael are lovely hosts. Our room was huge and the most comfortable bed. Easy walk into the village and Russell's restaurant is a must. Easy parking in the driveway. Breakfast was amazing. Freshly cooked choice, plus cereals, fruit, toast etc. Recommend.
Island View Bed & Breakfast was a fantastic place to begin our vacation. Vincent was a lovely host and made us feel right at home. Not only was the property spotless and comfortable, but he went out of his way to give us tips on local scenery, establishments, and travel. And the view of the Aran Islands and the rocky coast right from the front window was second to none. Our stay here was better than we imagined.
Sinead and Paschal are very welcoming and great hosts. Breakfast was delicious and room really comfortable. We really enjoyed our two nights stay and would definitely go back.
