very warm homestay. I had very great time here. There was no guest excepting me.but I've never felt lonely cause the family always care me and kids played with me. foods were very nice. The fish which Grace （second daughter）caught and coocked was great.

Authentic island living, beautiful and peaceful. Tranquil setting and delicious food. The family who owns the place are accommodating and very kind.

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! We had an incredible stay at Terimakasih homestay. The staff is wonderful and the owner always make sure you are happy and be able to see what you want to see close to the island. We did 3 homestays and this one was the highlight of our holidays. Thank you so much

We loved everything!!! Starting with the pick up in Waisai, super clean space, amazing food (and the best Lunchbox for diving) and of course the hospitality of Andy and Esni. They have created a paradise to relax and forget everything around you at the end of the World. We can not wait to come back anytime soon. - super clean - best food we had in our 4 week Holiday (Special diet requirements are considered which is amazing) - best lunchbox - new toilet and shower - most beautiful house reef - lovely Jetty - Restaurant in a Tree House - you can rent Snorkeling Gear, Kajak etc. - Andy and Esni are just wonderful, Both have an interesting life and many Storys to tell

Very friendly Host! They will help You with your planning and Support with all the Information you Need for your vacation. They can also Book your Trip to another Island, Diving courses or other things. I got a sweet cake on my Birthday :).

The family are exceptional. They are very attentive, friendly, caring and cook the most incredible food. The meals are all inclusive, healthy and full of variety. They also do some activities like snorkeling which can be done at the homestay, we saw plenty fish and a couple sharks too. The facilities are perfect, simple, clean and all you need. We loved the family very much, Alvar speaks great English and is the son of the owner Louis. They are always happy and the boys, especially Adrian, are amazing fun. They have a simple yet amazing homestay. If you're looking for authentic papuan experience, for a fraction of the cost and all the safety and love combined this is the place to stay. Local dive sites/centres are a short boat ride away (15mins Tarzan diving/papua explorers). Overall this is a great homestay with lots of potential.

Aron and his family provided us with a wonderful stay. The bungalow has a fantastic view directly out to sea. You jump into the water, swim 100m and find corals and a great variety of species. Around the bungalow we saw a wobbegong, an epaulette shark, reef sharks, turtles and starfish in the most colorful colors. Aron organized coconuts for us at our request, we were served delicious food directly on our terrace and went on many excursions to fantastic snorkeling spots. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Aron even organized ear drops from Waisai when we got an earache from diving and saved our vacation! Thank you so much for everything. It was an unforgettable vacation!
