After spending already two weeks in indonesia we had our best time at Heiner Homestay with Ope, Olga and their lovely kids. They not only served us delicious food, they also helped us with guidance and information about activities. Snorcheling and dolphin tour with Ope was an incredible experience. Also the WLAN works very well. We really felt at home and welcome in their homestay next to the beach.

The best homestay ever. Planned for three nights stayed for two weeks. Sweet home with my caring Novita mama and funny Butul papa and Oma and Opa. Comfortable and clean room with stable electricity (luxury), best cooking in Bunaken(Novita would prepare fish for guests like me but Tofu for vegans and nuggets for children and change menu almost everyday. You can also easily book dive/ snorkeling or trips from here with reasonable price.

We spent five nights at El Homestay as a group of four friends. Before arriving in Bunaken, I thought it would be too much time there, but once we arrived at El Homestay, we didn't want to leave.... It has been amazing staying here and experiencing Bunaken. There is a lot to do: snorkeling, diving, dolphins, sandbank, mangroves, visiting Siladen Island, hiking, renting a motorbike, and visiting the viewpoint. We can't wait to be back next year. This was without a doubt the best homestay we have experienced in two years of traveling through Asia. Stefen has been an incredible help with everything we needed and organized for us one of the best tours of our lives: the dolphins, Nain Island sandbank, and Siladen snorkeling tour. It's been two weeks since we left his homestay, and we still think daily of our time there. We would love to go back as soon as possible. The food was delicious and very healthy.

Very comfortable homestay and a nice open common area with free tea and coffee. The food was amazing and always so much of it! We also had a tour booked one afternoon meaning we would miss lunch but the guys held some back for us to eat when we got back. Location is really nice as it backs on to the beach. If you take a snorkel and swim 50 metres out until the coral drops off then you'll see dozens of turtles!
