Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The host Irma is the heart of the homestay. She arranged everything, helped whenever needed, also even upfront for transportation etc.
The homestay is simple, but absolutely fine for being on a little island with almost no tourists. Electricity is usually available btw. 6 pm and 7 am, what was absolutely fine for us. Really good breakfast and dinner (dinner is extra, but can be absolutely recommended).
I have really appreciated the location. We could do snorkeling 🤿 right in front of the home stay - no need to rent a boat !

You have the possibility to have a dinner at the home stay and I suggest you to try the fish. One of the best fish I ever tried.

This place is amazing! We will never forget this place. The view is great and there is a kind of private beach if you walk down the stairs out of the terrace. A kitchen is available if you want to make your own food. Further Addy is a really good host, who will help you to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The property is located just in front of a beautiful white sand beach. It is mainly locals and Indonesian families who are coming here to swim. The beach is clean. Property has a restaurant, rent scooter, do laundry services and can arrange transportation to Makassar for you. The bungalow is spacious and clean. AC works very well.
