The Premium room is pretty big, but not very clean. Be prepared to have cockroaches and other flying insects in your room.

The room was quite big, which would be good for two people if you booked a double room (has a big double bed). The location is great, in the middle of the main street. The staff is kind and looks after your stuff. Since the city is not super safe, they helped us to park our scooters inside. We got towels, that was good. Relatively quiet to sleep.

Nothing!!! We were finally able to find the accomondation with the help of our driver and two other locals. The photos do not match reality! Although it has already been paid we did not stay here. Do not book here!!
All...the family is very friendly ! They can organize bus to Toba lake, Medan or Bukkit Lawang and tour to the volcano. Rooms are confortable...The Best homestay in Sumatra!
I’d stay at this homestay for Smiley and Cecilia alone - Smiley, what a character who’s bursting with energy and Cecilia, always so sweet and accommodating. I did the sunrise Sibayak tour with Smiley and enjoyed it loads
Pak Kaesa is one of the most hospitable hosts I’ve ever met, provided a map of Berastagi and always ready with a dad joke up his sleeve ;) very well maintained and clean homestay with delicious breakfast
The homestay was really comfortable, the room + bedroom were perfect size and the host (Mery) was extremely nice and efficient. We came to Berastagi to climb Gunung Sibayak and she organized everything smoothly: breakfast to go, trip etc. Abdy was our driver and guide, he is tremendous nice and knowledgeable.great stay in Berastagi thanks te Nachelle Homestay!
We had an amazing stay! The room was perfectly clean and had a very comfy bed. The host were exceptionally helpful in every way! Great tips on how to take the local buses and hike the volcano. Wonderful view from the homestay and very peaceful location. Would definitely stay there again!
Clean and quiet homestay. Great host, he provided information and was very interesting talking with.
Comfortable beds, hot shower (just short, because the boiler is small).
Fantastic home stay right in the heart of Berastagi.
Cecilia is a great host and a great cook and Smiley was a great guide with some interesting stories!
For an authentic Indonesian stay this is the place to be.
Thankyou so much
this is a fantastic Homestay. the room is so comfortable. nice hot shower, comfortable bed, big fluffy pillows and soft new linen.
The host family are incredible people. They make this place so special. They are so kind and helpful. They organised my sunrise volcano hike, a tour of the ghost town, and my (very) early morning car to the airport. They are excited to share everything they know about Berastagi, and their hospitality is 5 star. Also - they made me a vegan banana pancake and it was amazing!
