Our stay at Zante Bay in Laganas, Zakynthos was an average experience overall. The room itself was okay, although it could definitely benefit from some proper maintenance. While it was clean, there were noticeable signs of wear and tear that gave it a somewhat neglected appearance.
The owners of Zante Bay seemed like good people, but it was clear that, like many others in Laganas, they were accustomed to the party-focused clientele and less concerned about providing a peaceful environment for families or those seeking a more relaxed vacation experience.
Alas is located in Argassi just a few steps from the Ionian Sea. It offers accommodations with sea views and has a snack bar with a large terrace, where you can enjoy your drink by the sea.
Two Brothers Studios Tsilivi Zakynthos offers accommodations in Tsilivi, 1.4 miles from Gaidaros Beach and 3.5 miles from Byzantine Museum. With sea views, this accommodation offers a swimming pool.

Fantastic! Everything you need, right in between two little towns. I would recommend renting a moped or car. Mike and his mother were so friendly and they even left us a nice honeymoon gift :)

If cooking is not your thing then there are multiple cafes and restaurants in a walking distance, The beach is 2-3 minutes walk from that place as well. Incredible hospitality, comfort and value for money. My stay was in May which wasn’t high season. Parking was not an issue at all and the shared living room/kitchen was extremely neat. Not too far away from the port either.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Yannis was a very good host. He helped in everything. He mentioned us all the places that is nice to visit, offered us to arrange boat trips and taxi. In the apartman a local wine was waiting for us. The apartman is close to the beach. Just 25 min walk. Very clean house with fridge, cooking facilities and airconditioner just behind the supermarket.
The accommodation looks like the photos. Everything is very clean, the cleaning lady came every day and did a great job. There is a restaurant directly below the accommodation, a super market like 1 minute away, and the famous strip 2minutes walk away.
Fotis is a great host. He helped us organize a transfer from the airport, invited us to his bar & gave out some free drinks.

I would recommend this apartment to everyone who travels with children. It's location is perfect, short walking distance from the beach but just far enough from the main street party. Really quiet in the night, surrounded by olive, orange and lemon trees.
The host family is the best! The room is not the latest fashion but really comfortable and have everything you need for the perfect holiday.
