Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We never expect much from cheap rooms like this. We turned up and were very impressed. Greeted by lovely hostess, easily found the place. It was so clean and very well decorated. Hostess was on hand and left us water in room, even offered lovely cold bottles of water that she had put in freezer as the day was sooooo hot.
