Communication up to our stay was excellent. Weather permitting we asked if we could use the pool, no problem they arranged this for us and our grandson, which he really enjoyed and it made our stay. The pool area is great and will return next summer for a longer stay.

There was nothing to feel comfortable about the accommodation. There was no one to receive when I arrived at the lounge. I had to spend 1:30 outside. No one to answer the door.

Had a wonderful stay thank you. Really enjoyed the location, the outlook. Arrived during a beautiful Rutland sunset! Found there to be a lovely lively energy in this quaint village pub. Good hearty meals and tea and breakfast. If the locals like it, it must be a good sign. Room was perfect for me on my own - enough space for my things and sweet in its design. Clean, comfy bed and linen. Friendly service from all the team. Would recommend.

Friendly, welcoming staff - chatty locals too, quite an unusual experience! Excellent food at the bar with a good, varied menu. Coffee machine in the bedroom was a very nice touch, and the room itself was comfortable, spacious and very clean.
